The Bible tells us to be humble and not to boast about ourselves. But what can we boast about? God! Every bit of boasting, edifying, and praising that we do for Him still wouldn’t completely tell of how wonderful God truly is and how much He loves us. If you ever want to boast to someone, then tell them about your awesome God!
Neither death nor life, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him
Sing praises to the Lord, who sits enthroned in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds!
So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
He is your praise. He is your God, who has done for you these great and terrifying things that your eyes have seen.
And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.
And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.
The Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously
Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously, let this be made known in all the earth.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.
My soul makes its boast in the Lord, let the humble hear and be glad.
I have overcome the world.
If we brag on God instead of on ourselves, then He can bless us more and more. And that gives us even more to boast about! So go tell someone about your great God!
