3 Reasons You Should Give It to God

“With God, no problem is too big and no detail is too small.”

– Woodrow Kroll

It’s Too Heavy a Load

Do you remember when Jesus told His listeners to come to Him and lay all their heavy burdens upon Him? He said it in Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” And after you do that, “take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29). If we’re not gentle and lowly (humble) in heart, we’re likely trying to carry our own burdens and heavy loads because we might be too proud to seek His help. If only more of us would know that Jesus’ “yoke is easy, and [His] burden is light” (Matthew 11:30). Nothing’s too heavy for God because He created everything!

It’s Too Big a Problem

I heard one man ask a very silly question. If God can do anything, can He make a rock too big to pick up? I thought, this is one of those questions like, “How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?” Does it really matter? Why would he ask that question? Apparently, he didn’t believe in God. He at least had somewhat of a right view about God, that He could do anything (except lie or sin). When you see your problem as being gigantic, you have a small view of God; but when you see the awesome power of God, you have a smaller view of your problem.

It’s Important to God

When a parent tends to a child’s needs, he or she never thinks of any detail as being too trivial to even mess with because if it has to do with his or her own child, no detail is too small or insignificant. In a similar fashion, God has every hair on your hair numbered (Luke 12:7), meaning God knows every detail about you and your problem, including those things you don’t even know about. Relax. God knows! God sees the biggest problem as small to Him but sees the smallest detail as if it’s up close.

Conclusion

It’s absolutely true that with God, no problem is too big and no detail is too small. If it’s a tiny detail in your life, it’s noticed by Him. If it’s a huge problem that seems impossible to get out of, remember that nothing’s too hard for Him.
